FAQs for NoSolo Dinners

  • What happens at a NoSolo dinner?

We start with introductions and an icebreaker while food is ordered and prepared. We then have a themed conversation led by the local host. The theme usually has to do with the city and/or country. We try to avoid politics. Then we can have a free-flow conversation and a group picture. The dinner lasts around 2 hours.

  • What's included in the NoSolo ticket?

A NoSolo ticket gives you access to a seat at a shared dinner. Price varies by city and whether or not dinner is included. We may start a subscription plan soon. Stay tuned.

  • Can I attend a NoSolo dinner when I'm not traveling?

Yes! We welcome everyone. It's fun for travelers and solopreneurs to meet people who can share tips about the area.

  • Who will I be sitting with?

You will sit with 3-5 other diners. We try to match you with people within your age group. A local host will be at your table to offer tips and information about the area.

  • How do you address safety?

We only reserve tables at well-reputed restaurants in safe neighborhoods. We don't give your personal information to any other diner. We also try to get a gender balance at the table. However, you do take on some amount of risk when meeting strangers.

  • Will the location be accessible?

The restaurants we choose are central or near public transit whenever possible. This will depend on the city. We also try to choose restaurants that are accessible to people with different physical abilities.

  • Will the restaurant be within my budget?

We try to select moderately priced restaurants. Prices are based on the currency and pricing of each city. All displayed costs are in the local currency, when possible, for convenience and accuracy.

  • How do I sign up for a NoSolo dinner?

You can register for available dinners by selecting your preferred date and paying for your seat through this website or links in our social media. At the scheduled time, you'll meet your group of fellow travelers!

  • In which cities does NoSolo currently operate?

As of now, NoSolo is active in Boston, Atlanta, Valencia (Spain), and Buenos Aires. We are continually expanding to new locations. Check in for new developments!

  • Why these cities?

Good question! We have relationships in these cities so the dinners are easier to organize. We do plan to grow worldwide.

  • How can I stay informed about upcoming NoSolo events?

You can sign up for updates on this website by providing your first name, last name, and email address. That way you can receive the latest info about new events and locations through our monthly newsletter and emailed promotions.

It was nice to share a meal with fellow travelers. Enjoyed having a local person there and an expat who is currently living here. Thank you!
